Israel’s Conflict And Lasting Peace

In faithfully doing my work as a prophet to the nations, I have been declaring the uncompromising word of the Lord about ongoing global conflicts, the core reason for wars and why there can be no peace yet.

Many struggle with these words because of a lack of understanding of the history of Israel, its geopolitics and spiritual relationship with other nations of the earth; as well as knowledge into the ways of God and how events taking place in Israel and the middle-east serves as a yardstick and lesson for the nations; a sign to the church, and a foretelling of human evolution.

War has continued for Israel and is escalating because the Prince of Peace was rejected. A militant king was sought for, not one who would rule without violence. Israel desired conquest and wanted a king and leader just like other nations of the earth had. Israel was not content with having God as King over her and with being a kingdom of priests, so she despised the priesthood which God had instituted to foreshadow the coming of a more perfect High Priest. When the nation demanded for a king, she welcomed an imperfect government, because there is only one perfect government with a perfect king. This is where the trouble began for Israel as a nation. Its confidence in imperfect leaders and not in a perfect God. (Read Exodus 19 & Isaiah 9)

To affirm this attitude, when God would be manifest in flesh as Son of man, He would still be rejected because the things He would do, say and teach were contrary to the interpretation of the religious leaders of how the Messiah should be. Inasmuch as they sought a sign to validate His kingship or messianic nature severally: Jesus’ death, burial, ascension and return was the ultimate sign given to an evil and adulterous generation. (Matthew 12)

As in the days of Samuel, so it was in the days of Jesus the Christ. Even as Samuel the prophet felt rejected by the children of Israel, Christ Jesus was rejected too. Fundamentally, the Israelites rejected God. (1 Samuel 8:4-9; Matthew 10:40-42)

The lasting solution to the middle-eastern conflict hangs on the Jews who have a divine purpose to be an example of a holy nation and a royal priesthood unto Jehovah. Israel’s failure to do this effectively is where Iran and its Axis of Resistance finds its strength, and the attempt to influence neighboring countries in the middle-east and beyond with their Islamic Fundamentalist and Extremist ideologies.

Messiah, Jesus the King, came to demonstrate to all of Israel how to win over and disciple the nations. Until He who sits upon the throne of king David is accepted as the King of the Jew and Gentile, and Israel shall say, “blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord”, lasting peace cannot be established.

The salvation of Israel is pivotal to peace. Until there is peace between the Jew and God, Israel can never make lasting peace with her Gentile enemies. (Ephesians 2:13-22)

[13] But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

Ephesians 2: 13-16

Messiah’s teaching and life, “it was said in old time, an eye for an eye…but I say to you, turn the other cheek…”, suggests being able to tolerate pain and enmity so well that instead of seeking vengeance, we cry out, “Father forgive them”.

When my enemy hates me, Messiah’s teaching provides a way to win him over.

(Matthew 5:38-48)

Caution For Balance

The Lord instructs me now with the following caution and safeguard:

It is important to bring a distinction between the peace that the world gives and the peace of Messiah“.

The sign of anti-Christ is a person, ideology, policy and system which brings reconciliation without a separation of the Temple of God from Idols; or Believers from Infidels; or Righteousness from Unrighteousness; or Light from Darkness. Anti-Christ will magnify himself and take a stand against the Prince of peace; but in the end he will be destroyed. (Dan. 8:25)

When you see an attempt to unify the worship of God the eternal Father and Christ Jesus with the worship of Allah, know for a surety that this is not the work of the Holy Spirit because there is no peace (nor agreement) between Christ and Belial.

Don’t also be confused by the ascribing of the title “Lord God Almighty” to a named entity whose faith and rules of worship defer from that which Christ Jesus and His holy apostles have handed down to us through the Holy Scriptures.

Indeed apart from the Islamic faith, there are other faiths originating from Asia, such as Hinduism, which call upon a “Lord God” (Brahma, Shiva & Vishnu, among others), yet this entity (entities) in their culture and tradition is an animal or abnormal humanistic creature not fit to be worshiped by man who is created in a more glorious form, nature and appearance. Such are nothing else but demon princes and fallen gods manifested in these cultures as angels of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14)

Iran and its “Axis of resistance” have a covenant which implies that they would rather die than fail to establish their Islamic ideologies. This militant approach to the expansion of their faith is where the universal church must draw lessons from, and once again explains why there can be no peace until Israel has done its conquest in the name of the Lord. It is a struggle for dominance in the middle-east and the wars are in fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Matthew 24 ISV

6 You’ll hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you aren’t alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn’t come yet, 7 because nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 But all these things are only the beginning of the birth pains.”

Contention Over Territories

Much can be learned from the contention which has risen over middle-eastern territory from what took place between Jacob and Esau. For one it was a conflict over his birthright, but for the other it was a fight for his “land of promise”.

If the promise is all natural or carnal to you, your obsession to possess it will drive you to the point of even killing your neighbor. No one inherits the kingdom of God with such misplaced priorities.

Is this not the common situation among most families today once the parents depart from the earth? Look and you will see that a blueprint prophecy and pattern to travel this life is very well outlined in bible text. It is visibly seen in what happened when Abraham took into his own hands the fulfillment of God’s promise to him – by “taking” the slave girl. Can you imagine the enmity created between Ishmael and Isaac? What about when Rebecca also took into her own hands the fulfillment of God’s promise – by teaching mischievous Jacob to steal his father’s blessing?

The patriarch of Israel, Abraham, to whom the promise was made sought for a city whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:8-13). Canaan, believed to be modern day Palestine, was not that promise in totality, so the descendants of the bond woman, Hagar, strive for the natural, because it belongs to the carnal.

Consider this: Jacob “the surplanter” became Israel. He “bought “acquired” his older brother’s birthright in order to possess a divine promise from God, or at least that is what he thought.

Questions

  1. Was Jacob carnal or spiritual when he made the decision to trade food for his hungry brother’s birthright after which he escaped to his uncle’s abode for safety?
  2. Did Jacob get to keep that which he “bought”, and how did it help him to fulfill God’s will?

Abraham having left the “dirt” behind currently controls a larger inheritance called “Abraham’s blossom”. This patriach of Israel still awaits the maturity of His descendants to whom the land of Canaan was promised; including all non-jewish believers today who are also spiritual heirs to the promise which Jehovah made Abraham and his seed, Jesus the Messiah. All who put their trust in the seed of Abraham find rest and understanding to possess the real promise.

Meditation and Prayer

  • Teach us Lord to reconcile the cultures and nations to you first, and then we can be truly reconciled with them; for there is no lasting peace without the bloodshed of the Lamb.
  • Pray for Israel, that she may be saved. She has a covenant with God and her stupor is an example to you and I, not to be arrogant with our faith but to remain humble before the True King.

Let us abide in the peace of Yeshua the Messiah, for all that is written must be fulfilled.

Shalah.
